Angel Rodriguez is the SVP-HR and Chief People Officer for WorldVentures. As the first Senior HR Leader for this exponentially growing organization in the Travel and Direct Selling industries, he is accountable for advancing the people agenda as a key business enabler supporting over 100,000 independent field reps and HQ staff. Before WorldVentures, Angel was the Senior HR Leader for Kellogg International and Global Functions; accountable for the People Agenda in Kellogg's Core and Emerging International Markets as well as the Global Support functions that support sustainable business growth. Prior joining The Kellogg Company, Angel was the Senior Vice President Human Resources for United Surgical Partners International. As the organization's first Senior HR Leader, he was accountable for the People Agenda at USPI, the prominent leader in ambulatory surgery and short-stay medicine. USPI currently manages nearly 200 surgical centers in the US and Europe. The organization is relentlessly focused on it's Mission - "to provide first-class surgical services for the local community in a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment; one in which we would be happy to treat our own families." Angel also served the US business community in his role as a senior executive at FRITO LAY in Texas. He was the Group Vice President, HR, for FRITO LAY North America Sales and Operations. He was responsible for more than 43,000 employees. Angel has served on several non-profit boards - as the former chair of the Corporate Advisory Board for the National Society of Hispanic MBA's, as the former co-chair for the Harvard/HACR Alumnae network, and as a Board Member for Texas Lyceum as well as a Founding Member of PRIMER. Angel is an Eagle Scout as well as a former board member for the Girl Scouts of the USA.
